L'Occitane Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream

I've used this product for over 14 years. I use it twice a day, everyday.
 My skin has been very dry since I've had an autoimmune disorder that cause my skin to be red and dry. One of the Dermatologists I saw at Johns Hopkins told me about it. Then I saw it on QVC when I happened to pass by the channel one day. That was my first purchse of this cream. Since then, I've purchased it from L'Occitane,Sephora,Amazon or on the Q. I love when I can get the large, double size,jars. But they're only availasble a few times a year. This cream is the deepest, most long lasting moisturizer for the body I've ever used. I'd tried many, many different creams prior to finding this one. The price is more than fair for the value recieved. A little goes a long way. My skin drinks it in and it leaves no sticky residue. Also, my skin is very sensitive, and this cream does not irritate my skin in any way. In fact it's very soothing. If you're on the fence asbout spending $39 for 7 ounces, please just try one jar. I promise you'll be back for more when you see the bottom of the jar. Most especially if you have dry skin, as I do.

I got this as a gift from a friend over the holidays and I was really excited to try this since I have seen so many positive things about this product, but I had no clue where to find this. When i opened the box, I found the cream in a nice packaging, it looked like a sturdy product with quite expensive packaging which made me feel happy. The cream itself does have a scent, it's not strong but it does smell a bit like chemicals which did worry me a little, since I do tend to have annoyingly sensitive skin compared to normal people. My friend who gifted me this product told me it was a real winner and that he has gone through 2 boxes of this cream so I did have high expectations for this product. My skin is already quite light but due to excess exposure to the sunlight it has been getting darker. I tried this cream and it did make my skin really soft but I am not sure if I am actually getting lighter from this cream. My skin tone does seem a bit more light, but I feel like it looks a bit uneven. I don't know if it is the cream's doing but I have stopped using the product. my skin is a bit more normal toned, I don't know it looks more even and I have started to use the product again. This time around it has not caused my skin tone to be uneven and it does lighten my skin. I do not know if I want to continue because I do fear my skin could turn a bit patchy again. I don't know how else to describe this cream, but I don't think this problem is normal because I don't see any one complaining about this problem but myself. Overall decent cream, it does leave your skin very soft, but I just have a bias towards this cream.

It Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Powder Brush

This is a really nice, high quality brush. It has a very full and soft brush head. Perfect size for picking up enough powder to do my entire face with one swipe. I haven't experienced any shedding with this brush and no loose hairs which end up stuck to my face. I have washed it several times, and the brush looks and feels just like new. Again, no shedding or splaying. For reference, I also own some MAC, KevynA, PaulaD, LauraM and several Shu (including the 18R Powder). I prefer this brush for finishing powder over the 18R, and this brush cost less. Way to go QVC, I just rec'd this brush with the powder & was raving that it should be sold on its own!!!& here it is!!! This is the BEST makeup brush I have ever owned..Now, I cannot use my other brushes...It is cashmere to your Face..& soooo soft , feels like Velvet...Even my favorite Brush is taking a back seat to this one...I hope the design and sell a set of Brushes.....It is well worth the price!!!! Absolutely LOVE it! I have used Bare Escentuals make up and brushes for several years now but I am tossing them all for the IT COSMETICS line of brushes. They are all so silky smoooth to your face and pick up just enouugh powders to cover the wanted areas. I have found a new love in the IT line!
